Description
Nockholds Farm is a farmhouse dating from the mid 17th century. It is constructed from timber framing and plaster, topped with a half-hipped peg tile roof. The building features a large rectangular chimney stack with offsets on the north side. A central 20th-century porch and 20th-century casement windows have been added. There is a painted timber cornice beneath the eaves, and a lean-to at the rear, which has been later extended to create a flat-roofed extension. The rear of the farmhouse includes a black boarded, gabled peg tiled staircase tower. The structure consists of two bays and has a moulded inpost block beneath the central spine beam.
