Description

A pair of cottages, likely dating from the 17th century and originally built as a single house, is located on Bildeston Road in Little Finborough. The cottages are one storey high with attics. They are timber-framed with a pebble-dashed exterior. The roof is thatched with two 19th-century gabled dormers featuring casement windows. An 18th or 19th-century axial chimney is constructed of red brick, and another is located at the left-hand gable. The windows are 19th or 20th-century casements. One cottage has a 19th-century boarded entrance door, while the other has a 19th or 20th-century glazed four-panelled door. A rear wing to the left is of early or original construction. The interior was not inspected.
