Description

Finborough Barn is a farmhouse, likely dating from the late 16th century. It has two storeys and a two-cell lobby-entrance plan. The building is timber-framed and plastered, with a pantiled roof that was probably originally thatched. There is an axial chimney, with the shaft rebuilt in 19th century gault brick. The windows are 20th century small-pane casements, and there is a boarded door at the lobby-entrance position. An open lean-to pantiled porch supported by posts is also present. Additionally, there is a lower wing on the north side, which dates from the 19th or 20th century.
