Description

Vine Cottage is an early 18th-century timber-framed farmhouse. It was extended in the early 19th century with a front of gault brick. The timber frame is plastered and colourwashed. The roofs are covered in black-glazed pantiles.

The south front has three windows, with a central 6-panelled door, the upper two panels glazed, and a 20th-century gabled trellis porch. To either side of the door are 2-light casements under gauged skewback arches. Above are three similar first-floor casements, the central one narrower. An eaves cornice with double mutules runs along the top of the front. The gabled roof has gable-end stacks inside.

The north wing features 2-light casements and includes an integral dairy. It has a gabled roof with a central gault-brick ridge stack. The interior has not been inspected.
