Description
Hall Farmhouse is a 17th and 18th century farmhouse. The front is timber-framed and faced with brick, with pantiled roofs. An 18th century rear extension creates an L-shaped plan. The house is two storeys high with an attic, and appears to have roughly three bays. An 18th century gabled porch is positioned off-centre, featuring a three-centred archway with brick voussoirs; the group value of this feature is notable. On the ground floor are a two-light casement window, a three-light casement window, and a 20th century window, all set beneath skewback arches. The first floor has three three-light casement windows with horizontal glazing bars. There are two gabled dormers with casements and leaded lights. The roof is steeply pitched and has two axial stacks. The south facade comprises two bays of three-light casement windows, each set beneath a cambered arch. The rear wall of the main wing is rendered timber-frame and contains two 18th century three-light casement windows. Later side and rear extensions have been added.
