Description

Marsh Green Cottage is a house dating from the early 17th century or earlier, built in two stages. It has a three-cell plan, consisting of a one-storey hall range with attics and a two-storey parlour block to the right. The structure is timber-framed and plastered, with pantiled roofs that were once thatched. A large axial chimney made of 17th-century red brick is a prominent feature. The cottage has late 20th-century casement windows with narrow vertical lights and a panelled door located at the lobby entrance.
