Description

The Rabbit Hutch is a house dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It has a two-cell plan and is one and a half storeys tall with attics. The building is timber-framed and rendered, topped with a thatched roof featuring an axial chimney made of red brick. In the mid-19th century, it was divided into two cottages, each with a three-light mid-19th century casement window and a boarded entrance door. The central chimney serves open fireplaces that are back-to-back, located in the kitchen on the right and the parlour on the left. The building is included for its group value.
