Description
Fyfers is a 17th-century house with a two-cell lobby-entrance plan. It is timber-framed and plastered, featuring a thatched roof with an axial chimney, which was rebuilt in 19th-century brick. The house has various 19th and 20th-century casement windows, with small panes on the ground floor. A 20th-century panelled door is located at the lobby entrance. The building prominently incorporates reused components from the 15th or early 16th century, particularly in the studs and rafters. The 17th-century structure consists of three bays, with one internal truss closed and the other open. In the 18th or 19th century, the chimney was relocated to create two cells of equal size.
