Description

No. 9 Broad Street is a house that dates from the 17th century and early 19th century. It features a timber-framed structure with an early 19th-century brick facade and a slate roof. The building has two storeys and a two-window range. On the left side, there is a half-glazed door set within a doorcase that has panelled reveals and reeded pilasters, topped by a flat hood. To the right of the door, there is a 6/6 unhorned sash window within a flush frame, which is situated under a gauged skewback arch. The first floor has two similar sash windows, which do not have gauged arches. The eaves project, and the roof is gabled. The interior has not been inspected.
