Description

Brown and May Fishmongers is a shop with first-floor accommodation, dating from the 17th century and altered in the 20th century. The building features a plastered and colorwashed timber frame with a plain tile roof. It has two storeys and consists of one window bay. The 20th-century shop front includes an entrance through a half-glazed door to the right, which is shared with the adjacent premises. On the first floor, there is a two-light casement window with glazing bars. The roof is gabled, and there is a truncated internal gable-end stack on the south side.
