The building is two storeys high, with the gable end facing the street. On the ground floor, there is a plain shop front that includes a 20th-century plate-glass display window, with a half-glazed door to the right. Above, there is one 2/2 horned sash window set under a segmental head. The gabled roof has a ridge stack that terminates in triple polygonal flues. The north front has a two-window range, with a six-panelled door, the upper two panels of which are glazed. To the left, there is a 20th-century plate-glass display window, and on the first floor, there are two late 20th-century 2/2 horned sash windows. This building is part of a very significant group around the Town Hall and is included for its group value.
