Description

This milestone, located about 370 meters east-north-east of Walnut Tree Farm House, dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is made of square freestone and stands approximately 1.5 meters high, tapering slightly towards a pyramidal head. The inscriptions on the milestone indicate directions: on the left, it reads "TOM. To Scole"; on the right, "15M. To Bury"; and on the rear, "27M. To Norwich".
