Description

Darsham's Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the 17th century. It has two storeys and attics, built in a three-cell plan. The structure is timber-framed and roughcast, topped with a plaintiled roof featuring two gabled casement dormers. A prominent feature is a large axial chimney from the early 17th century, made of pink/orange brick with four closely-set detached square shafts. The windows are mid-20th century steel casements with leaded lights. There is a battened and boarded door at what is likely the cross-entry position, accompanied by a 20th-century plaintiled gabled entrance porch. The interior has not been examined.
