Description

Number 13, Orwell Place, is an early to mid-19th century building with a plastered front that likely covers a 17th century timber-framed house. The façade features a parapet with a frieze and cornice, and the first storey is divided by pilasters. The building has two storeys and a two-window range in the central bay, with slightly recessed plaster panels between the outer pilasters. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The ground storey has a 20th century addition. The roof is tiled. Numbers 9 to 13 (odd) are part of a group with numbers 8 to 14 (even).
