Description

Nos 9 and 11 Orwell Place is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered house that was remodeled in the 18th century. The building now features a 20th-century shop on the ground floor. The front has a low parapet and cornice, with sham exposed timber-framing on the first storey. It is two storeys high and has a two-window range, with three-light oriel bay windows and double-hung sashes that include glazing bars. The roof is tiled. Nos 9 to 13 (odd) are part of a group with Nos 8 to 14 (even).
