Description
The Unicorn Inn is an early to mid-19th century building made of grey gault brick, featuring a stuccoed ground floor and a quadrant corner on Foundation Street. It has three storeys and cellars, with a total of nine windows, including one on the quadrant corner and one on Foundation Street. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, set in plain reveals with stuccoed flat arches. A stucco band runs across the front at the level of the second storey window sills, and a raised band marks the top of the stuccoed ground floor, which includes semi-circular arched windows and doorways. The east end has a two-window range that slightly projects forward, while the quadrant corner is slightly recessed. Additionally, there is a two-storey extension at the east end with one window range. The roofs are covered with slate.
