Description
Nos 30 and 32 Tavern Street is a 17th-century building that features a timber-framed and plastered structure with a jettied upper storey, which has been partially obscured by a 20th-century shop front. The building has three gables adorned with carved bargeboards and consists of two storeys plus attics. It has a three-window range with casement windows that include glazing bars. The attics are illuminated by windows in the gables, while the first storey features oriel bay windows. Inside, the original plaster ceilings are decorated with fleur-de-lis motifs. The roofs are tiled. Nos 30 to 44 (even) are part of a group of buildings.
