Description

Nos 34 and 36 Tavern Street is a 17th century timber-framed and plastered building that was originally jettied on the first storey but now features a 20th century shop front. The building has two gables at the front and stands two storeys tall with a two-window range, including oriel bay windows with glazing bars. Inside, there are exposed ceiling beams on the ground storey and some exposed timber work on the upper storeys. The roofs are tiled, and the building has undergone considerable alterations.
