Description

Nos 2 and 3, Hatton Court, is an early 19th century timber-framed and plastered building, likely originally a wing of The White House in Tower Church Yard. The building has two storeys and features a six-window range, including three double-hung sashes with glazing bars (one being a three-light window) and three casements, two of which are oriel bays. The doorway is adorned with a wood doorcase that includes a fanlight, pilasters, and a cornice. The ground storey has two small 20th-century shop fronts. The roof is tiled. This building is included for its group value with The White House, the garden wall to No 9 Northgate Street, and The Church of St Mary-le-Tower on Tower Street.
