Description

Number 20 on Tilehouse Street is a building from the 17th and 19th centuries. The plaster front may be hiding a timber framework underneath. It has a tiled roof and stands two storeys high with attics. There is a gable on the right side featuring an attic window. The front includes two flush casement windows and a two-storey bay on the right, all fitted with glazing bars. The entrance door is accompanied by an oblong fanlight, set within a surround that is topped by an open pediment supported by consoles. This building is part of a group that includes numbers 1 to 17, 19 to 32, and 35 to 40 on the same street.
