Description

Number 22 on St Nicholas Street is a building from the 18th century or early 19th century, featuring a parapet that covers an earlier timber-framed and plastered structure, likely from the 17th century. The building has two storeys and attics, with a two-window range of double-hung sash windows that have glazing bars and are set in flush cased frames. The ground floor has shops from the 20th century. The roof is tiled and includes two flat-headed dormers. Numbers 10 to 24 (even) are part of a group of small timber-framed and plastered houses from the 16th to 17th centuries, some of which have been altered in the 18th century and later.
