Description

Nos 14A and 14, St Nicholas Street is a timber-framed and plastered building dating from the 17th to 18th century. It has two storeys and features a six-window range with casement windows. The ground floor includes a 20th-century shop. At the rear, there is a timber-framed wing that originally faced the Unitarian chapel. The roofs are tiled. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 10 to 24 (even), which consists of small timber-framed and plastered houses from the 16th and 17th centuries, some of which have been altered in the 18th century and later.
