Description
This house at 121 Anglesea Road was built around 1860 and is constructed of white brick with slate roofs. It stands two storeys tall. The elevation facing Anglesea Road features one window bay with paired pilasters at the corners. The entrance has a six-panelled door set within a doorcase that includes entactic stuccoed pilasters supporting a hood on brackets. Above the door is a six-over-six unhorned sash window framed in an artificial stone surround. The roof is hipped and has four stacks.
On the north-east elevation, there is one six-over-six unhorned sash window on each floor of the window bay next to the entrance, which also has pilasters. The rest of this elevation is rendered, and it has a central pediment that is gabled back to the main roof. The south-west elevation, facing Norwich Road, has an irregular four-window arrangement, with the third bay projecting forward under a hipped roof and featuring rusticated corners. The ground floor includes a cast-iron and glass verandah that runs along the entire length, with French doors opening to the interior. The upper windows are four-over-four horned sashes. The interior has not been inspected.
