Description
Nos 70 to 74 on Upper Orwell Street is a timber-framed and plastered building that features early 18th century external characteristics on the first storey, which may include an earlier core. The building has two storeys and a five-window range, with double-hung sashes that have heavy glazing bars set in flush cased frames, arranged in a 2:1:2 pattern. The windows are divided by fluted pilasters, with end pilasters at the front. The ground storey has 20th-century shops, and the roofs are covered with 20th-century tiles.
