Description
This is a house located at 221 Woodbridge Road in Ipswich, built around 1826. It is made of rendered and whitewashed brick with a slate roof. The building has two storeys and features a four-window range on the facade, presenting four unhorned 6/6 sash windows on each floor, separated by a platband. The hipped roof is topped with three rendered and whitewashed chimney stacks. The entrance is located in a single-storey secondary bay on the west side, featuring a door with four recessed panels and two small glazed upper panels, covered by a hipped roof. Inside, there is a stick-baluster staircase with a straight handrail and a turned newel post. The internal doors have six recessed panels. This house forms a group with the adjacent No. 219.
