Number 13 on Market Place is an early 19th-century building constructed of brick and colourwashed. It features a low-pitched pantiled roof and has toothed eaves on the returning east side. The southwest gable includes a first-floor flush frame sash window, which now has only centre glazing bars. The shop front, dating from the early 19th century, is adorned with channelled pilasters. At the rear, there is a single-storey wood wing with a loft, also covered with pantiles. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 11 (odd), Nos 11A, 13, and 17 to 21 (odd), alongside the Butter Cross.
