Description

Nos 2 and 4 on Cross Street are 17th century buildings that stand two stories tall with an attic and feature three gabled dormers. The exterior is roughcast on brick, with a cove cornice and pantiles. The first floor has five original mullion transom casement windows, one of which is blocked but still shows its frame. There is also a near flush frame sash window with glazing bars. No 2 has a modern shop front, while No 4 features an early 19th century wooden shop front with pilasters. Nos 2 to 6 (even) form a group.
