Oak Cottage is a pair of houses that were originally one dwelling, dating from the 17th century. The building is timber framed and plastered, with a pantiled roof. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring a three-window range. Oak Cottage has three-light casements, while No. 36 has 20th-century casements with small panes and modern doors. There is one internal stack and one external stack located at the gable end of Oak Cottage.
