Description

Two houses, numbered 5 and 6 Benhall Green, date to 1697, as indicated by a panel on the first floor of number 5. The houses have a T-shaped plan. The original part of the building is timber framed and plastered, with some brick facing, and is two storeys high with an attic. A later brick wing projects forward. Both ranges have three-light casement windows, modern doors, and thatched roofs. The original timber-framed range contains an internal stack. To the east of the brick wing is a single-storey lean-to extension constructed of brick and pantiles, featuring a shop window with vertical glazing bars.
