Description

Fuscia Cottage is a pair of houses, originally a single dwelling, dating from the late 17th century. The building is timber-framed with sections rendered and others clad in white weatherboarding. It is two storeys high, with a gabled slate roof and two red brick gable end stacks. The front elevation is mainly white weatherboarding with coved plaster eaves. There are three 17th-century casement windows on the first floor, each with rectangular leaded lights. The ground floor features two 19th-century three-light casement windows, a single double-hung sash window with small panes and a central doorcase with a flat hood supported on curved brackets. A rendered side elevation has a 19th-century flat-hooded doorcase with heavy brackets. A continuous lean-to extends along the rear of the building.
