Description

This building is a barn and stable located 30 metres south of Valley Farmhouse, dating from the late 17th century. It features five bays and is constructed with a timber frame, weatherboarded on a plinth of red brick, topped with a thatched roof. To the left, there is a lower section that may be slightly later in date, which serves as a stable with a hay-loft above. The structure has clasped-purlin roofs and includes boarded doors for both the barn and the stable. This building is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
