Description
These four cottages, located 30 meters south of St. Andrew's Church, were originally a coaching inn that was converted into cottages in the 19th century. The cottages date back to the 17th century and are constructed with a timber frame, featuring roughcast render on the front and brick gable ends. The roof has pantiles on the eastern slope and plaintiles on the western slope. The building is two storeys high and has a range of four windows, primarily consisting of 2-light small pane casements. There are four doorways; three have modern boarded doors, while one features a half-glazed door with a small rectangular fanlight. The southern gable end has a Dutch gable, with the upper part of the parapet altered. It includes a brick band at the eaves level, corbelled eaves, and brick coping. There is one internal stack and one external stack on the south side, along with 19th-century extensions added to the rear.
