Description

A pair of estate cottages dating from the early to mid-19th century, situated along Benhall Main Road. The cottages are arranged in an L-shape, with a gable facing the road. Constructed of red brick, the roofs are covered in fishscale tiles. Each cottage is single-storied with an attic. They feature 2-light and 3-light casement windows with diamond-paned glass, set within flat brick arches and splayed reveals. The windows have drip moulds above the ground-floor openings. The cottages have boarded doors. A brick dentil cornice runs along the eaves. A central rectangular chimney stack is flanked by two smaller, square stacks positioned diagonally.
