Description

West View is a pair of estate cottages dating from the early 19th century. The construction is of red brick with a plaintiled roof. The cottages are two storeys high with a two-window range. They feature 2-light casement windows with very shallow pointed brick arches above. Each cottage has a doorway with a gabled brick porch featuring wavy bargeboards and a tall spike finial, the arches above the doors being shallow pointed. They have 4-panel doors. A hipped roof is topped by a central axial stack. The building is listed for its group value.
