Description

69 and 70 The Street are two cottages, probably from the 17th century. They are timber framed and plastered with a pantiled roof. The cottages are single storey with an attic and have two windows featuring casement frames. There is a mid-20th century glazed door for No. 69 and a boarded door for No. 70. Each cottage has three catslide dormers with slated roofs. There is an internal stack and a 19th-century external stack on the left-hand side. The position of the internal stack suggests that the right-hand end of the house may have been lost.
