Description
These are a pair of cottages dating from the early 19th century. They are built of red brick with a black glazed pantile roof and coped gable ends. The cottages are two storeys high and have two widely spaced windows to the front, each a sash window with glazing bars under a flat brick arch. There are doorways to the left and right of centre, each with a fielded panel door. Brick chimney stacks rise above the gable ends. Number 1 has a two-storey addition on its right-hand side, with a lean-to roof, leaded casements, and a round-headed doorway.
