Description
Benhall Lodge Stables is a stable block built in 1810, contemporary with Benhall Lodge. It is now used as farm buildings and an estate office. The structure is made of white brick and features a slate roof. The central block is two storeys high and has symmetrical single-storey wings. The central block includes a semi-circular headed recess with a clock face at the upper part, topped with a hipped roof that has a ball finial and a weather vane at the southeast end. The wings have overhanging roofs supported by paired fluted columns and plain pilasters, with casement windows and six-panel doors set under segmental arches. Each wing ends with a pedimented coach house, featuring twin eight-panel doors on the left side and a blocked entrance on the right side.
