Description

Amadeus House Workshop is a former smithy that has been converted into a workshop for making musical instruments. It is attached to and slightly projects forward from the north side of No. 2 Fairfield Road, with a long return front facing Fore Street. The building dates from the 19th century and is single storey. It features roughcast over brick and has a hipped, pantiled roof. On the east side, there is a row of three fixed industrial-type windows with vertical glazing bars, a small-paned window at the corner, and double half-glazed doors. The building is included for its group value.
