Description
Brown's Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse located on Woodbridge Road in Tunstall. The building features a combination of rubble stone and red brick on the front range, with red brick used on the rear. It has a plain tiled roof and is designed in an 'L' shape, with modern extensions added to the rear. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has a variety of windows, including 2/3 light and 2/2 light casements with mullions and transoms. There is one sash window on the ground floor on the right side, set in a flush frame with glazing bars. All windows are topped with drip moulds and segmental gault brick arches. The entrance is marked by a prostyle porch featuring a flat moulded hood supported by Greek Doric columns, leading to a four-panelled door. The roof is also adorned with two gault brick stacks at the ridge.
