Description
Westend Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse located in Eastington. It is constructed of brick and features decorative brick dentils and a two-brick string course below the eaves. The slate roof is adorned with decorative ridge tiles and has brick stacks at both ends. The main front range is two storeys tall and includes two lower wings at the rear.
The facade has three windows, arranged as 3/2/3-light wood casements with cambered heads. On the ground floor, there are two larger 3-light windows flanking a central gabled porch hood, which has a decorative barge board and finial. The porch structure is a later addition and includes a door with four flush panels.
The left rear wing features slatted vents, likely for cheese rooms, on the upper floor, while the right wing has a large lateral brick stack.
