Description
Grove Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse constructed of brick, featuring a tile roof with stone-coped verges and brick end stacks. The building is a single range of two storeys and an attic, with a small rear wing to the right and a rear lean-to to the left. It has three windows on the upper floor, which are two-light wood casements, and vents designed as mullion and transom with cambered heads. The central gabled dormer contains a 20th-century two-light window. On the ground floor, there are three similar windows arranged in a staggered pattern, along with a central large 19th-century gabled porch that has a decorative barge board; there are two two-light windows to the right of the porch and one three-light window to the left.
