Description

Red House Farm House is a late 18th or early 19th century farmhouse. It is constructed of red brick with a plain tile roof. The house is two storeys and an attic, featuring a brick dentil eaves cornice. The front range has coped gables, kneelers, and gable end stacks. There are two gabled wings at the rear. The three-bay front has a central doorway with a tiled, bracketed hood, and a large three-light casement window to either side. Similar windows are present on the first floor, except for a two-light casement in the centre. Two gabled dormers are above the end bays. The left-hand wing has a gable end stack and matching windows to the front. All windows are set within segmental arched openings; originally, they had glazing bars. A single-storey outshut is located at the rear.
