Description
Danesford, Nos 4 and 5, are a pair of early 19th-century cottages. They are built of painted brick and extend over two storeys, with a slightly projecting gabled wing on either side. The cottages have four casement windows in total, each with a shallow pointed-arched head and a brick hood mould, the upper ones extending as bands. The entrances are distinguished by moulded wood pilaster doorcases, each topped with a cornice hood resting on consoles, and featuring rectangular fanlights. The eaves are dentilled, and the roof is covered with old tiles.
