Description

Grange Cottage is an early 19th-century building located in Quatford Village, Bridgnorth. It is constructed of painted brick and stands two storeys high. The front features one casement window set within a rusticated surround that has an arched head and keyblock. Both the front and the left-hand end of the cottage have shaped gables topped with stone copings. There is a moulded stone band, sprocket eaves, and clustered stone stacks with octagonal diaper-patterned shafts. The roof is tiled. Grange Cottage was formerly a gate lodge for Danesford Grange.
