Description

Parkgate Cottage is a picturesque mid-19th century plastered building located on the west side of the south entrance drive to Quendon Hall. The cottage is one storey with attics and features a four-window range of casements with lattice leaded lights. Two of the windows are oriel bays, while the other two have stucco moulded surrounds. In the center, there is a boarded door. The roof is tiled and includes four gabled dormers with shaped bargeboards, along with a large central chimney stack that has four circular moulded brick ornamental shafts on a square base.
