Description
Rushbround is a house that was originally three cottages, dating from the 17th century. It has been significantly altered and extended in the 20th century. The building has a T-shaped plan and is constructed of timber framing and plaster, featuring a red brick crow stepped gable and a pantiled outshut. The roofs are plain tiled and the house is two storeys high. The windows are scattered, with most being 20th century casements, although there are some 19th century windows with glazing bars. The entrance door is made of planks. There are two red brick chimney stacks on the main range and two detached red brick octagonal stacks at the crow stepped gable end.
