Description
The Hall is a house that was formerly a rectory, built in the early 18th century with early 19th century additions at the rear. The main part of the house features cement stucco on brick, while the curved addition on the right side is made of gault brick. The rear additions are constructed from red brick, and all sections have slate roofs. The front range is two storeys high, while the rear has two storeys and an attic with a mansard roof. The building has a seven-window range of sash windows set in flush frames with glazing bars, and the cement stucco flat arches above the windows have key stones. There is a prostyle enclosed porch made of gault brick, which includes pilasters and a moulded flat entablature. The doorway features moulded brick jambs and a semi-circular head, with six-panelled double entrance doors that have upper glazed panels and a fanlight above.
