Description

Ash Green Farmhouse is a late 17th to early 18th century farmhouse, remodelled in the 20th century. It has an L-shaped plan. The main range consists of four bays, featuring a lobby entrance. The building is timber-framed and has been plastered, with decorated panels. It has a plain tiled roof. The two-storey elevation has scattered 20th-century casement windows with single glazing bars. The original 18th-century doorway retains its architrave with ears and a moulded hood, now with a 20th-century four-panelled door. An axial red brick stack rises from the ridge. Inside, stop-chamfered spine beams and posts are exposed.
