Description

The White House is a house dating from the early 19th century, with a 20th-century extension. It has an L-shaped plan and is constructed of stucco on brick, topped with a slated roof featuring stone parapets. The building is two storeys high and has a three-window range, with sashes set in recessed frames that include glazing bars and louvred shutters. The entrance doorway is adorned with Tuscan pilasters, bands, an entablature with enrichment, and a pediment, leading to a four-panelled door with two glazed panels. A dentil course runs along the eaves, and there are two moulded brick stacks that are cement rendered on the gable ends.
