Description
No. 7 Kirkley Park Road is a house built in 1909 by Ralph Scott Cockrill. It features pebbledashed and whitewashed brick with a plaintile roof and stands two storeys tall. The east facade is asymmetrical, with a central gabled wing that projects forward. The entrance door is located beneath a 5-light mullioned window with leaded glazing. To the left, there is a full-height tile-hung bay that includes wrap-around mullioned windows. Further left, a canted ground-floor bay window is situated below an elongated tile-hung hood, which has a 3-light mullioned window perched on its apex. The south corner of the main elevation is accentuated by a flying cornice, and there is a quadruple diamond-flued external stack on the south return.
